Our family is going to WDW mid April 2010 and staying for the first time at the Yacht Club. Can you tell me where the International Gateway to EPCOT is and what part of the park it leads into.

    Hi Diane!

The Yacht Club Resort is a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort!  I stayed in the Beach Club Resort (the sister Resort to the Yacht Club) for three nights in August and it was simply amazing.  The really cool part besides the incredible rooms was that we were within 5 minutes walking distance to the gates of Epcot via the International Gateway.  The International Gateway is Epcot's back door and when you pass through it you are in Epcot's World Showcase between the France and England Pavilions.  You will need a valid Park ticket to enter Epcot.  You can actually walk or take a Friendship Boat from the Yacht Club to the International Gateway.  Sometimes walking is actually a lot faster if there is not a boat heading to Epcot right at the dock in front of the Yacht Club when you are ready to leave.

I hope that you have an incredible time staying at the Yacht Club and traveling around the world in Epcot's World Showcase!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
