Our family will be @ WDW in May. My youngest daughter and I both have asthma. Do the parks and or resorts have nebulizers on site, if one of us has an unexpected need for a breathing treatment?

    Hi Angela,

All members of my family suffer from extreme asthma.  I asked the same question about nebulizers before I ran the 2006 marathon and was surprised to hear that, at that time, they did not have nebulizers available at first aid.

They do have rescue squads that can get you or your daughter to the hospital should you need to be seen by a doctor.

You should speak with your family doctor before your trip about how to be best prepared.  He or she may be able to suggest something that is both portable and effective.

If your asthma is exasperated by allergies you can speak with your travel agent or guest services about allergy free rooms that are available at certain resorts.

Meet the Panelist: Michelle, New Jersey

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
