Our family of 4 will be at WDW in May. If we all have FP+ for the same attraction at the same time, do we all have to go through together? Sometimes we split up to do stand by, so it would be easier to enter separately, but does that mess up our fastpass

All of you do not have to ride the attraction at the same time, even if you grouped everyone together to make your FastPass+ selections online weeks ago. Every band is personalized to the wearer.

For example, two weeks ago, it was the day after the Disney Half Marathon and my family was enjoying the Magic Kingdom. All of us had the same FP+ time for Big Thunder Mountain, and we realized that we had less than 15 minutes to make our way from Tomorrowland to Frontierland. I really wanted to ride Astro Orbiter before leaving Tomorrowland but didn't have the heart to ask my husband and son to walk to BTM and back again--especially after their race. So, we sent the kids to BTM and my husband and I lingered at Astro Orbiter. If we didn't make it to BTM, we would not be as disappointed as the kids. However, all was well. We entered BTM a good 10 minutes after the kids--and even about 5 minutes after our FP+ window--and the MagicBands let us in. No problem entering separately.

Moreover, you will also find that if someone in your party doesn't want to ride an attraction, you can take off the band with the FP+ and allow someone else to use it to ride it for a second time.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
