Hi Diana!
Welcome back to planDisney! As my friend Princess Tiana would say, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting
closer and closer every day. It won't be long until you're strolling Main Street, U.S.A. with your favorite Mickey-shaped snack!
Diana, I see you're already busy planning park days that promise to be practically perfect in every way. The
Hours & Events Calendar is a helpful planning resource as it lists scheduled park hours and entertainment for each day of your vacation. Typically, you'll find this information is updated 60 days before your trip, but sometimes adjustments are made closer to your arrival date. For example, I'm getting ready to leave for my next visit to Walt Disney World, and the calendar was recently updated with extended park hours and two performances of
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away most evenings. While I can't make any promises about what calendar updates may happen in July, I'd definitely encourage you to keep checking for the latest park information as you get closer to your trip!
On the calendar, you'll also find specific times for
Early Theme Park Entry - one of the many
benefits available to Guests staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection. This is a great opportunity to experience one or two of your must-do attractions before the park opens to other Guests. As a reminder,
complimentary resort transportation begins about 45 minutes before the posted early entry time for each park. I usually like to arrive at the transportation stop for my resort hotel about 15 minutes early so I can hopefully try to catch one of the first buses if I'm planning to "rope drop" the parks in the morning!
I hope this information has been helpful, Diana, and that you have an amazing time enjoying all the
summer fun at Walt Disney World! You're always welcome to
Be Our Guest here at planDisney, so please stop by again if you have any other questions!
See ya real soon!
