Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica!
I’m so glad to hear you frequent
Walt Disney World Resort. We see so many spontaneous gains on each visit with our Autistic son with the help of Disney’s
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities.
The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is great fun, but I agree, that it is loud and my son had some difficulty there as well. We also tried
Mickey’s Backyard BBQ and found that our seating placement at the picnic tables nearest the open-air edge, in the Outdoor Pavilion was such that my son felt less confined, and along with a set of noise-cancelling headphones, was able to enjoy his meal with more ease. Guests were free to roam about at this venue adding more flexibility to our dining experience, but the music is loud, I must warn.
On a most recent trip, my son greatly enjoyed riding the
Amphicars beside
The BOATHOUSE® at Disney Springs after our delicious dinner. Aside from the hum of the Amphicar, the experience was serene and comforting allowing my son to enjoy his motion, which he so craves.
Ferrytale Wishes:
A Fireworks Dessert Cruise is a great way to be in the calm of Seven Seas Lagoon with delicious desserts and terrific views of the fireworks, which are not as loud within the ferry boat.
Best Wishes!
