My family and I are going to WDW in June and we have purchaced the Dining Package. If we go to a restaurant in the hotel, is it true that we can get a dozen doughnuts and a drink under our SNACK portion? I was told this by a WDW traveler. KerryAnn

    Hello Curtin,

In a way, your friend/WDW traveler is correct.  By this I mean that you can get a dozen donuts as a snack option (if it is $4.00 or less), but not in the restaurants(as far as I am aware). all the Food Courts, Gift/Convenience Shops located throughout Walt Disney World have a different selection of snack options (some better than others!) A bit wishy- washy I know, as this is quite a loaded question and many possible answers, I cannot say Yes or No specifically!

I will give you an example of this:  In The All-star Music Resort, you will find the donuts you are talking about in both the food court and also their gift shop (they are club/family pack donuts and most of them are $4.00 or less).
In Downtown Disney Shopping District there is Goofy's Candy Co. and most items ($4.00 or less) are also valid for the snack option (but not the items that can be considered souvenirs, so anything in a container or special wrapping that can later be used for souvenirs are not available as a snack option).
Lastly, (one more tip would be), at some of the food courts you will also find large bags of potato chips and small bags (even though they are different sizes, the larger one is under $4.00 so it would be the better bargain!).
I hope I haven't confused you too much (my head is spinning right now!?!?), but this subject is a very hard one to explain, as there are so many yes's, no's, what if's, and possibilities! (remember, my name is Brigitta if you like this answer, but if you don't like it, my name is LUCY!)

    Good Luck!!!!
