Family of 4 will be at WDW in July. One day we will be at Magic Kingdom then having dinner at Chef Mickeys. Another day we will be at Animal Kingdom with dinner at T-rex in Downtown Disney. How much time should we allot to get to dinner and how?

Hi Stacy - Getting from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary is very easy.  You can either take the resort monorail one stop, or take a short walk over.  I'd probably plan about a half hour.

When you are at the Animal Kingdom, you'll need to take a bus to a resort, and then transfer to another bus going to Downtown Disney.  For that, I'd suggest that you leave about an hour and a half.  It may not take that long, but at least you'll have a little buffer.

    Have a great vacation!
