    My family and I will be going to WDW in jan 2011. Was wondering if we need light jackets or heavy coats. We are used to snow in maryland during jan.

    Hi Naomi - I'm from Massachusetts, so I totally understand being used to snow in January.

    Average highs in January are in the low 70s, and lows are in the mid to high 40s.  However, I highly recommend that you check the weather forecast before you leave, because I know that last January was unseasonably cold.

    I'd probably recommend a light jacket, and maybe some sweaters, if temperatures do end up being around average.
