Hi. My family will be at WDW the first week of December, 2013. I've heard refrigerators are no longer an option for resort rooms. Why is that? We have a two year old and it would be so convenient to have access to a refrigerator. Any suggestions?

    Hi Laurie,

Your trip is almost here! How exciting. I hope you have a countdown going.

In regards to the refrigerators in the resort rooms, the refrigerators were removed from all standard guest rooms in mid to late summer. They are in the process of replacing them resort wide, but we have not been given a time frame or schedule as to which resorts will receive the new refrigerators. I do have some good news, though. Each resort has a limited number of refrigerators that can be requested. While I can't guarantee that you would receive one, I would be sure to explain your reason when you check in to your resort. There could also be a chance that the updates throughout the resorts would be complete by your vacation, too.

Have a magical trip. It will be here before you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
