Hi Amy ~
A first trip to Disney World is always super exciting! Be sure to pick up a "1st Visit" button for each of you at your Disney Resort Hotel or any theme park Guest Relations location. You never know what pixie dust will come your way.
I have two boys that have been visiting Disney since they were born. A
character meal has always been a big hit with them. Chef Mickey's and The Crystal Palace are two of my boys' favorites.
If you prefer a non-character table service meal for dinner, we love 'Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort.
California Grill is another favorite. The view of the Magic Kingdom is spectacular. It is always a treat to make reservations to coincide with Wishes fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. You are also welcome to go back to watch if you have dined anytime that evening.
Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is another favorite. The food is out of this world and you get to meet Beast in the library following your dinner.
If you are in Epcot, Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria and the Coral Reef Restaurant (you get to watch the fish in the aquarium while you eat) are big hits.
50's Prime Time Café is a great family restaurant if you are going to be at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
T-Rex at Downtown Disney is always a must do for my boys.
You can make
Advanced Dining Reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE beginning 180 days prior to you trip. I would recommend doing that as soon as you are eligible to get your first choices.
Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions! We are hEAR for you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
