Hi! Our family will be in WDW for the first time in January 2010. We want to make the most of our 7 days. Which resort do you think we should visit on arrival day, at about 2pm? We are staying at the Disney Beach Club Resort. Thank you :)

Hi Alma!  I hope you love the Beach Club resort as much as our family loves it!  You ask about what resort you should visit on your first day but I believe you mean to ask about what park?

You have two great options when you stay in this location as EPCOT is only five minutes away when you walk to the International Gateway entrance to the park.  You could make a dining reservation at one of the many great restaurants in the World Showcase or Future World and hit some of the attractions before and after dinner.

Your other option is to take the water launches to Hollywood Studios. This ride takes about 15-20 minutes so it is also very close.  Depending on the hours of either of the two parks, you might choose the one that is open the latest.  You did not give me a specific date but you can check to see if either park has Extra Magic Hours on the day you arrive.  Click HERE to get to the calendar page for the parks.

Since you have seven wonderful days to play I always suggest that you don't try to do too much on day one. Traveling is exhausting and try to take the first day to also tour your resort and the surrounding areas to become more familiar with all that is offered.

    Have a magical vacation!
