    Hi! My family and I will be at WDW in February for my son's 7th birthday! Wanted to know if there is any way I can get him into the afternoon parade at the MK - we will be at that park on his actual birthday! Thanks!

    Hi Martin!!!

    I was just recently able to celebrate my son's 4th Birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort and I had such a magical time with him!!

    Unfortunately, there is no rhyme or reason how to get selected to be in a Walt Disney World Theme Park Parade.  I have been lucky enough to be selected one time to be the Grand Marshal and it was pure luck of the draw and being in the right place at the right time!!!

    If you did want your son to be able to participate in a parade I would suggest viewing the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party at the Magic Kingdom!!  This is a very interactive party/parade experience that is a lot of fun!  He would be able to dance along side many Disney Characters!!  It would definitely be a great photo/video opportunity!!
