Hello, My family and I are going to WDW in Feb'13. Unfortunately, we are not able to stay in the resorts this time, but I was wondering if are we still allowed to explore the resorts and eat in the restaurants? What are we able / Not able to do? Thank you!

    Hi Valerie,

I am so happy that you are able to come to Walt Disney World in February!  My family loves staying on Disney property, but we love going to Disney even more so I understand staying off property.  You can certainly visit any of the resorts.  There are some amazing restaurants available that you would miss if you just visited the Theme Parks.  Some of my favorites are the California Grill and The Wave at the Contemporary, 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, the Trail's End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, Ohana at the Polynesian, and Boma-Flavors of Africa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You will not be able to swim in any of the pools in you are not a guest at the resort, but you can still walk around and explore the wonders of the resorts.  Spend some time doing this and be sure to make Advanced Dining Reservations so you will have the restaurant of your choice.  I know you vacation in February will be just magical, Valerie!
