My family and I are going to be in WDW in the fall of '11. We are purchasing the Deluxe Dining plan but I was wondering about tips. Do we have to leave tips in cash or can we put just the tip on a credit or a debit card to make it easier for us?

    Hi April,

You are going to eat well on this vacation!

The easiest way to deal with tips, or any charges at Walt Disney World, is to have your credit card information added to your room key/park tickets when you check in to your resort.  You can add your tips and any additional costs from your meal (alcoholic beverages) directly to your room charges.

If the idea of having charging privileges with your room key doesn't sit well with you, then you can use a separate credit card to pay for tips.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
