My family is going to WDW in early June - what advice can you provide to help us stay cool and calm?

    Hi Joann!

How exciting that you are going to Walt Disney World in June!

A few tips to keep you cool and calm include:

    1. Arrive at the park prior to rope drop. If you get to the parks early you will avoid the crowds and the heat.

    2. Take a break at midday and go back to your resort and take a nap or a dip in the pool. I love staying on site at Walt Disney World so I can easily go back to the room and rest. Art of Animation has a great pool and is close to the parks.

    3. Book your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) 180 days in advance.

    4. Use My Disney Experience to book your FastPasses 30 days in advance so you can save time standing in line.

    5. Cool off in the late afternoon and evening in the attractions that are primarily indoors, such as the Hall of Presidents or Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom or Ellen's Energy Adventure at Epcot.
