    My family & I will be at WDW during the 2014 Wine & Dine Half marathon Weekend. I'd like to run the 5k, wondering how many hours I will be away from the family with the packet pickup & the actual race. We will be at the Saratoga Springs Tree Ho

    Greetings, Yvette! 

    I am excited to hear you are interested in participating in Mickey's Jingle Jungle 5k. This 3.1 mile course through Disney's Animal Kingdom is sure to be a wild time. 

    I would anticipate packet pick-up to take approximately two hours, travel time to and from the expo included. You could always bring your family with you to the Disney Health & Fitness Expo, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex- they might enjoy the opportunity to see this unique sporting venue.  

    As far as the race, without knowing how fast you run, or what corral you'll be in, it's a little harder to pinpoint how much time you'll need. I would plan on leaving your Treehouse Villa by 5:15am to allow plenty of time to travel, park, and find your corral. Race time is 7:00am, add you running time and then about 30 minutes to get back to your resort, and you should have a decent estimate of the time you'll need to allot that morning.
