    My family has been to WDW over a dozen times. WE usually bring someone along that has never been before. This January 2012 we are going again, and have never been this time of year. Any suggestions?

    Hi there Bobbi! 

    January is a great month because the weather is very reasonable and typically it's a little less crowded. The second weekend in January (6-8th) is when they are having the Walt Disney World Marathon so the week leading up to that weekend should be a little more crowded. Being that the Marathon is the only major event for the month, the weeks after the marathon are perfect because they are typically some of the least crowded times of the year. I would also try to bring two different types of clothes. You can't predict the weather and while it's Florida, temperatures can fluctuate a good bit. It could be warm on day and cold the next. Oh, and pack a bathing suit because the pools are heated and at least one of the water parks will be open! I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
