My family and I are going to WDW Dec.27th to Jan 1st and have our ADR all ready but was wondering how to have our special event celebrated? The whole reason for our trip is my 9yr old daughter will be in remission from Leukemina for five years? Help!!

Congratulations on your very special occasion. It sounds like a magical trip to WDW will be a great place to celebrate.

    Here's a few ideas:

Take your daugther to afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian's Garden View Lounge. She'll feel like a pampered princess dining on such delectables as strawberries and cream or lemon pound cake. Or indulge like I did and order both!

Consider a fireworks cruise. Specialty cruises are perfect for celebrations. My husband treated me to a Wishes cruise recently. It was memorable!

I would also have your special event noted on your resort reservation as well as your dining reservations. Sometimes Cast Members will treat a family to some special surprises such as a complimentary dessert.

    Order a cake at 407-WDW-CAKE.

I hope your vacation is sprinkled with lots of pixie dust!
