Hi! My family and i will be in WDW in August and we want to go to a halloween party. We read MK will have some restaurants with "halloween food". Is that true? And can anyone tell me if we could use a dining plan meal for that dinner? Thanks!

    Hi Leticia!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite special event at Magic Kingdom Park!  From the delicious treats to the spooktacular shows, it's a fabulous night of fun.  During the party nights, special treats are offered.  In the past there has been candy corn ice cream and cotton candy, special spider and worms and dirt cupcakes, ghoulish slushies, Halloween cookies and ice cream sandwiches and much more.  You can find these treats at Main Street Bakery, Storybook Treats, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, and Gaston's Tavern.  Most of these treats are considered snacks and can be purchased using snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan.  If you'd like to see which specialty foods were offered last year, do a quick Google search for "Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2016 Map" and you'll see a few fan sites that show last year's map.  On it you'll find Quick-Service restaurant locations that offer regular meals for purchase that you can also use your Disney Dining Plan for.

    Have a magical day!
