My family wants to do Shark Reef together. I wear glasses and can't see without them. Contacts are not an option for me. Am I going to able to participate with my glasses on? I was really excited about this ... Thanks Moms Panel :-) Y'all are AWESOME!

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for the compliment on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  All of us panelists enjoy helping guests plan their magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

You really need to wear a mask and snorkel to enjoy Shark's Reef at Typhoon Lagoon.  There's nothing really to see above the water; everything to see is under the water and close to the floor.  You can purchase a mask that would allow you to wear your glasses while using it; I personally own a mask like that.  However, Disney won't have any, so you will have to supply your own.  You are allowed to use your own mask and snorkel in Typhoon Lagoon.

Sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but please write back if you have any more questions!
