If my family of 6 wants go to Disney where should we stay if we want to stay a week

Hiya pal! Welcome to planDisney. Walt Disney World Resort offers a wide variety of accommodations to meet every budget and party size, and I love staying on property to immerse myself in the magic. I ran a search for your selected check-in date and party size and will be happy to share some recommendations for your stay! Just know that pricing and availability is subject to change at any time, so things may have fluctuated since I composed this response to your question.

The nostalgia pick for your vacation is Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This Value Resort lives up to the "value" moniker, as you will enjoy the largest resort pool at Disney World, convenient and complimentary transportation options including Disney Bus Service and the Skyliner, and Family Suites that sleep up to six people. Add in the larger than life decor in areas themed to Cars, Finding Nemo, and The Little Mermaid and you've got a resort that is perfect for families. It's all the nostalgic vibes of an All-Star Resort, but Art of Animation is newer, offers various room types, and has enhanced transportation options.

The coziest option for your trip would be a stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This resort offers a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of Disney World, and you can do some glamorous camping or "glamping" in the recently refreshed cabins. Your family can rest, recharge, and participate in outdoor activities like fishing, biking, and archery. This resort is also home to one of my favorite Disney experiences of all time: dinner and a show at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. The Pioneer Hall Players will entertain you with song and dance while you chow down on all-you-care-to-enjoy ribs, fried chicken, coleslaw, and other favorites. Make sure to leave room for the strawberry shortcake!

Finally, the resort that will best deliver that vacation feeling is Disney's Old Key West Resort. You can stay in a two bedroom villa that sleeps up to nine guests, so there will be plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Take a quick boat ride to Disney Springs for fabulous shopping and dining, or grab a Key Lime Dole Whip and dip your toes in the pool at the resort. I always achieve peak relaxation when I spend time at Old Key West, so it's a strong contender for your upcoming visit.

The truth of the matter is that you really can't go wrong when you choose a Disney Resort hotel. You'll enjoy a ton of benefits and be close to all the action and excitement that Disney World has to offer. In your case it really comes down to budget and space. You can choose to have your whole party in one room with the suggestions I've made here, or you can split your party across two rooms at the same resort. You can always request connecting or adjoining rooms, and Cast Members will do their best to grant such requests, though they are not guaranteed.

I hope this helps you choose a resort for your stay! Meet me back here if you've got additional questions or are seeking additional insights for your trip.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
