My family and I were wanting to visit Disney World, what is the best month to go where it’s not to hot?

Hey there, Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you're here. As a fellow Floridian, I know nothing beats our amazing sunshine, but it can definitely get hot! My family and I visit Walt Disney World Resort every June, and I can confidently say that mid-day breaks by the pool are a must for us to beat the heat.

I've been fortunate to visit throughout the year, and my absolute favorite time at Disney World is during the fall and winter months. First and foremost, the weather is much more agreeable, which is extremely important with young children.

There's nothing quite like the magic of Halloween at Disney! Seeing Disney's Magic Kingdom decked out in vibrant fall colors and pumpkins is truly a delight. If you can, I highly recommend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is one of my favorites, and you'll find plenty of spooky-fun entertainment throughout the night. It’s also a rare opportunity to spot unique characters and see your favorites dressed in their Halloween best. With trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom and a generous helping of candy, you're sure to have a wickedly good time. Cap off the night with spectacular fireworks hosted by a special guest. Since this is a special ticketed event, be sure to snag tickets early as they often sell out quickly!

Winter at Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely enchanting. The entire property sparkles with holiday cheer, transforming every corner into a festive wonderland straight out of a storybook. Twinkling lights, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and the sweet scent of gingerbread fill the air, creating a magical atmosphere that's impossible to resist. You might even spot Santa Claus himself! One of the highlights of the season is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a special ticketed event featuring exclusive parades and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. It's truly one of my favorite ways to celebrate the holidays at Disney.

There is simply nothing like Disney during Halloween or Christmas. I hope this helps you decide on the perfect time for you and your family to visit. Stephanie, thank you so much for stopping by planDisney!
