Hi Elijah,
Welcome to planDisney! There’s nothing quite like the excitement of planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and October is a fantastic time to visit. With festive fall décor, cooler weather, and fan-favorite events like
EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival and
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it’s one of my favorite times to be in the parks. I am in the early stages of planning another visit during the same time, myself!
While Walt Disney World doesn’t technically offer a traditional monthly payment plan, they do make vacation planning super flexible. Luckily for you, vacation packages (
Disney Resorts Collection room and tickets) for October 2026 are eligible to be booked, and you’ll only be required to secure your stay with a $200 deposit (subject to change). After that, you can make payments at your own pace in any amount and at any time, as long as your vacation is paid in full 30 days before your check-in date.
It’s a great way to lock in your preferred travel dates and book early, especially if you have your heart set on a particular room type or location. Personally, I love that this setup allows you to plan ahead while staying in control of your budget. You will also have the option to include a dining plan with your package!
Elijah, I’d love to help you with picking the right resort for your crew. I’m partial to Disney’s Art of Animation Family Suites, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for the tropical island vibes, and the luxury of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, but happy to dig a little deeper into the other options available as well. Just let me know and
send another question. My way, I’m always here to help.
Happy planning!
Brent
