My family and I were wanting to plan a trip to Walt Disney World and we heard that there was a resort in New Orleans. We have family that lives just outside there and we could stay with them. Could you please tell me if this is true?

I think you may be confusing the Walt Disney World resort hotel "Port Orleans French Quarter" which is indeed located on Florida's WDW property. Although it is themed after New Orleans, it is not near the actual city.

I can tell you about the WDW resort! It's one of my favorites.

Port Orleans French Quarter is a quaint hotel. It has a Mardi Gras theme. You'll find wrought iron fences, and quaint streets leading between the resort buildings. It is a moderate resort which offers exterior corridors but wonderful amenities. You'll find a pool with a kid-friendly water slide, food court, bus transportation to the WDW theme parks and rooms with 2 double beds or 1 king bed.

    I hope this helps.
