My family and I are wanting to plan a trip to Disney eventually.I was wondering when the best time during the year would be the best to go to Disney World?

    Hi, Heather!

The time of year to travel to Disney is so different for each family. Some like to go during the summer months when the park hours are longer and the kids are out of school.  Others like September when the crowds are smaller and prices are better.  My family likes to go in December to enjoy all the holiday festivities.

Look at your family's calendar and choose a time that agrees with your schedules.  Then you will want to click HERE to keep checking Special Offers.  Try to book when you can get a room or package discount.  It's always nice to go when you can save some money!

When planning your travel dates, try to avoid times like the few weeks around Easter or the weeks around Christmas and New Year's.  These are the busiest and most expensive times to travel to Walt Disney World.  If you choosing between a few different dates, let me know and I can give you the pros and cons of your choices.

Have fun planning your magical Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
