Hi, My family and I are wanting to plan our first Disney vacation for April 2013. What are the crowd levels and weather like that time of the year?

    Hi Andrea!!!

April is a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!!  Being in education, this is one of the times of the year that I am able to visit, so I can definitely let you know how the crowds and weather are.

The first week of April in 2013 will be very crowded.  The weeks before and after Easter are always some of the busiest of the year.  Once you get into the middle to late part of April, it will be a little more manageable with the crowds.

On average, the high temperatures in April are in the low 80's and the lows are in the upper 50's/low 60's.  April is also one of the driest months of the year so the chances of rain are very low!!  I usually wear short sleeve shirts and shorts when I visit in April!!

Please let me know how else I can assist you!!

    Have a magical day!

    Scott
