Hi Gina,
Thanks for stopping in to see us here at planDisney!
Celebrating
the spirit of the holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort always makes for a merry and magical vacation. Over the years, we've enjoyed many holiday season stays, and those stays are always among our most cherished Disney memories.
Gina, if you're open to selecting and booking your own Resort reservations, I'm happy to offer a few helpful tips. If you'd like to speak with a Cast Member for assistance in booking your selections, you can contact the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639 or
chat with a Cast Member online.
Another option you might want to consider is to do a quick website search for an "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" and choose a travel agent who has earned that special distinction and who can offer fee-free services to help you plan and book your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
If you're open to selecting and booking your own Resort reservations, you can begin by getting a quick view of the
Disney Resorts Collection accommodations. You'll see there are
so many magical choices, from Resort hotel rooms to Disney Story Rooms to Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts for
larger travel parties.
You can begin to search for accommodations and book reservations with the
"Explore Resort Hotels" search feature where you can enter your travel dates and travel party information. If you and your family will be booking multiple room reservations, you'll want to do each search and booking separately if you're booking online.
After you select your Resort stay accommodations, you'll see you can choose to book a room-only reservation, or a package that includes both your Resort stay and theme park tickets. The booking steps will guide you to select the number of days you want to visit the theme parks, and select your theme park ticket options. For example, theme park ticket options could include the Park Hopper Option to visit more than one theme park in a day, and the
Disney Genie+ service to help you get the most out of your theme park visit by purchasing
arrival time windows for attractions.
If you are planning to purchase theme park tickets, it's helpful to look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar first as a way to see which theme parks have reservations available for the days you want to visit. After you book your vacation package with theme park tickets or purchase your theme park tickets, you can then
link your reservations and tickets to your My Disney Experience account and make theme park reservations through the
Disney Park Pass system.
Gina, I hope these planning and booking tips are helpful as you put together your very merry Disney holiday stay.
Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day!
Jerry
