My family will be in Walt Disney World the week before Christmas and while we have tickets for MVMCP, we also want to see the regular fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Will Enchantment (on nonparty days) and Harmonious still run like normal?

Hi there, Kasie! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great holiday vacation planning question. I just love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!

Before you know it, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure at the most magical time of year. How exciting! There's never a bad time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, but the holiday season is my absolute favorite. With the twinkling lights, holiday decor, the smell of gingerbread and peppermint in the air and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in full swing, there just seems to be extra pixie dust throughout the parks and Resorts. I'm so excited for you and your family to answer the call of the holiday magic!

I think you will be happy to hear that on the nights that there is no Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney Enchantment should take place as usual. Since the show's schedule has not yet been released for your dates, I suggest checking the schedule as your vacation approaches to see the dates and times of the nighttime spectacular and then checking again the day of just to make sure the schedule did not change. As of now, the schedule has been released through November 9, 2022, and the showtime is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. Don't miss it!

You also won't want to miss Harmonious, the nighttime fireworks spectacular at EPCOT. This show is just stunning, and the soundtrack gives me all the feels. You should also be able to catch this show nightly, and while the show is currently running at 9:00 p.m., be sure to check your showtimes as your vacation approaches and on the day you plan to enjoy it.

My favorite way to view these incredible nighttime spectaculars is without having to wait for a premium viewing spot! So, I suggest booking one of the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties for Disney Enchantment and either the Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package or the Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package for Harmonious. Delicious food and treats, sparkling wine and a premium viewing spot for fireworks?! Sign me up! You can sign up 60 days before you arrive, so if I have your arrival date correct, that's October 17, 2022. Happy booking and enjoy!

I hope you have the most magical and memorable holly jolly vacation! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    Have the very merriest time!
