My family will be at Walt Disney World March 5-13 and and are staying at Saratoga Springs and want to make great use of our time by getting to each park when they open. How many attractions can we realistically do before they get too long? Any other tips?

    Hello again, Larry!

Your arrival at the Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few days away. I can't wait for you to experience all the magic of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! From Disney KiteTails to the Fab 50 Character Collection, there is a little.. actually, a lot.. of extra pixie dust sprinkled throughout all four theme parks!

Now, let's get to the good stuff. I admire your enthusiasm and desire to experience as much as possible in the time you have at each park. With your resort reservation comes Early Theme Park Entry, which it looks like you're ready to take advantage of during your trip. With that extra 30 minutes in the park before other Guests arrive, you will likely be able to experience 1-2 extra attractions. I recommend getting to the park entrance at least another 20-30 minutes early, so you can be in the front of the line and not waste time entering the park. If you choose to begin with more popular attractions, like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or Avatar Flight of Passage, your 30-minute advantage will likely just give you a better spot in those lines. If choosing less busy rides, like The Seas with Nemo and Friends or Mad Tea Party, you'll likely be able to experience two full attractions before many Guests even enter the park at opening. It all depends on which approach you take and which attractions are most important to you!

As you can imagine, Guests of Walt Disney World Resort tend to be early risers. The "rope-drop" crowd (those who arrive right at park opening) is a full club and therefore, lines do begin to form pretty quickly. Ride times at each attraction vary quite a bit based on the time of the year, day of the week, weather and more, so it is best to stay up to date by checking the current wait times using your My Disney Experience App. You can also take advantage of the free Disney Genie feature, which will help customize an itinerary for your day based on the preferences you choose. Like the real Genie, Disney Genie will help predict forecasted wait times to help you find the best time for each attraction throughout the day. You may also choose to purchase Disney Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lane attractions to grant you faster access to many rides in all four parks.

Larry, thank you again for allowing planDisney to help you with your stay!

    Happy planning,
