My family and I are volunteering at the Disneyland half marathon. We should receive a ticket for one day at one of the parks. I was wondering how crowded the parks are the day after the race. Should we wait until later in the year to use our tickets?

    Hi Patricia!

First, let me thank you and your family for volunteering at the race!  You have no idea how much it means to the runners to have such amazing cheerleaders along the route, and there are no better chEARleaders than the volunteers for runDisney events!  Thank You, Thank You, THANK  YOU!!!

Now, to your question:)  Because it is Labor Day weekend, I figured the crowds would be fairly high.  So, I went to  my favorite crowd level resource (www.touringplans.com), and they are estimating the crowds to be around 7 or 8 (out of a possible 10), on the day of the race and the day after the race.  So, it will be fairly crowded, but not horrible.

If you have the option to go any day, I do see that the dates of Sept.9-12 are all 1 out of 10 on the crowd prediction chart!  That would be amazing!

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, and have a great time volunteering at the race!!
