    My family will be visitng wdw for Mardi Gras 2011 is this a busy time and how is the weather at the begining of March?

    Hi Kimberly!

         Throw me somethin' mister!!!!  As a native New Orleanian, I have escaped the Mardi Gras madness many times at Disney World!  The key factor in planning Mardi Gras trips to Walt Disney World is to check first and make sure that it doesn't coincide with President's Day.  The great news is that 2011 does not fall during this time and it should be just about perfect weather!  You can typically expect highs in the 70's or lower 80's.  I am trying to convince my husband that a Mardi Gras trip would be great for our family this year as well - maybe I will se ya there!
