    My family and I will be visitng WDW in August of this year. We are very excited. We are staying at the Pop Century resort and wanted to book an early morning (7:00 AM) character breakfast at Chef Mickey's. What transporation is available that early?

    Hi Hansel!  First of all you are staying at one of my favorite resorts! I love Pop Century and the layout and amenities it offers. I just feel so happy and relaxed there!

    Chef Mickey's is one of the most sought after character dining reservations on property. It sounds like a great plan to start your day with Mickey and friends. Perhaps you will then walk over to the Magic Kingdom from there.  Getting to early morning times is not the easiest thing to do. I have to tell you that the BEST way is to get a cab and take the short ride to the Contemporary resort. This will allow you the quickest and least amount of stress in transportation. It might be about a $15 charge but for me at that time of day it is well worth the cost.

    There are supposed to be early buses starting at 6:30 to go to the resorts to pick guests up for early dining each day.  You would look for the one that says Magic Kingdom and immediately tell the driver that you have Chef Mickey at 7am. You will make other stops with other people so it can get stressful as 7am time looms closer and you are not there. Once you are dropped off you still have to head to the 4th floor and check in.  If a bus has not come to your resort in over 15  minutes and you have been out waiting at 6:30am then you can call the bus operation center at 407-824-7092 to request one. Again this is stressful if your time is 7am.

    Hopefully all will go smoothly for you and you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast with Mickey!
