My family will be visiting WDW the week before Easter and leaving the Saturday before. Will there be any special celebrations that we should plan on attending. It will be a first visit for our 3 year old daughter and we want to make it special for her.

Hi there Ashley! How exciting that your little girl will soon be experiencing her very first Walt Disney World vacation! Be sure to pick up a free "1st Visit" celebration button at any Guest Services location in the theme parks to announce this momentous occasion to others!

While the details for your travel week have yet to be released, in years past there is usually a meet and greet with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny the week prior to Easter at Tour Guide Gardens adjacent to City Hall in the Magic Kingdom Park.

Also, some of the Disney Resorts offer egg hunts and other activities related to Easter. If you are staying onsite, be sure to inquire with a cast member at check-in for further specifics.

You may wish to plan an Easter surprise for your little one and the Disney Florist has many delightful options to choose from to make this holiday special.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
