My family of 5 are visiting WDW We have a 5th sleeper for carribean Beach resort. My question is are any of the 5th sleepers close to an extra bathroom 🚻 if we need it? Also do the 5th sleeper rooms have shampoo in the showers?

Hey Howdy Hey Stephani and welcome back to planDisney!

It is so exciting to hear that your Magical vacation is just days away! You will be in for a treat staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and I hope you have at least 1 day dedicated to enjoying all this resort has to offer. Thank you for stopping by with your question about 5th sleepers and bathrooms. With a family of 5 myself, this is always a concern when we travel as well. I will be happy to give you the details of what to expect during your stay.

I love the fact that Disney has been updating many of the resorts to include 5th sleepers. This gives so many more families options for travel with the whole family and some unique sleeping options for the kids! At the Caribbean Beach Resort, you will find most of the 5th sleeper rooms in the Aruba, Jamaica and Trinidad areas. Restrooms outside of your hotel may be hard to come by unless you know where to look. The pool areas will have restrooms close to them as well as the Disney Skyliner station and the main hall of Old Port Royale.

You can do your resort check-in online through your My Disney Experience app. When you are moving through these steps, you can make room requests to be close to certain areas. You can request to be near pools, the Skyliner or Old Port Royale which should help access to other restrooms if need be. Just know Disney does everything to accommodate requests, they may be limited due to availability.

I've heard that one of the most powerful connections to memory is by sense of smell. Being in Disney and staying at one of their resorts comes with the classic scents from the H2O+ collection. While these are no longer available for purchase, you will still have the opportunity to indulge in the scents which almost all bathrooms in Disney will have shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the bathrooms. Body lotions are typically located at the sink in a travel-size bottle.

I hope this helped give you an idea of what to expect for room requests and in-room amenities. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
