    Hi Jessica!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

September is historically a quiet time in the parks.  However, it can be very busy in the Table Service restaurants because Disney sometimes offers Free Dining as a promotion during that time frame.  Thus it can be hard getting last minute Table Service reservations.  In fact, you will sometimes see signs saying something along the lines of "unfortunately, only guests with reservations are being accepted" meaning you can't even try and wait for a table!

My recommendation is to make as many reservations as you can;  as the time for your trip approaches you can always change or cancel them as necessary.

By the way, it is generally easier to get a last minute reservation at a Disney resort hotel than in the theme parks.  However, that's not true for the most popular hotel restaurants such as Chef Mickey's, Ohana, California Grill, etc.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
