Hi! Our family will be visiting WDW in Nov. and we have the quick service dining plan. Our party includes my 3yo twins who enjoy a variety of food. Can they split an adult QS meal to get a break from chicken nuggets etc. with one of their meal credits?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katie!

You must be so excited for your family's upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World!

You'll be thrilled with the value of your Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, too. My children grew up enjoying Disney Dining Plans; their sophisticated palates are due, in part, to DDP options. :-)

While it's true that your 3-year-olds will have to order from the children's menus where available, that does not mean that they will have to order chicken nuggets and other kid-type food throughout your stay. Choose your dining locations carefully, as some offer far more variety than others; the same is true with kids' menus!

I filtered Walt Disney World Counter Service dining so we could look at some of the most varied kids' menu choices. Lunch at Magic Kingdom Park's Be Our Guest Restaurant, for example, offers kids' entrees such as grilled shrimp, slow-cooked pork or a grilled cheese with turkey noodle soup. At Epcot's Sunshine Seasons, they can have salmon, a chicken leg or a Caesar salad with oak-fired chicken, among other options. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, kids can enjoy a pulled pork slider at Min and Bill's Dockside Diner.

Nose around menus posted on WDW's website and plan dining around the best options for your entire family. With a little planning, you can all enjoy some new favorites!

Send more questions as you plan, too; we love to help!
