My family is visiting WDW May 10-14. 1. Will the Art of Animation resort be open? 2. We have never experienced character dining. We are looking at several restaurants --Cape May, Crystal Palace, Ohana, & Chef Mickeys. Where can I find these buffet pr

Please Amanda go make your character dining reservations right now! A meal with Minnie or Winnie the Pooh is a must have experience at Walt Disney World.

Your choices of restaurants is excellent. My personal favorite is breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I have lost count of how many times my family has enjoyed Mickey waffles with Mickey but I never tire of this fabulous meal. To check on prices for these meals, which are quite similar, click on Character Dining. All the restaurants that offer character dining are listed. Click on any individual restaurant's overview page to view prices. Please note that 'Ohana and Cape May Cafe only have character dining at breakfast.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is going to be bold, colorful, and fun. Some amazing family suites, rooms, pools, and courtyards are going to be created using theming from such Disney movie classics as Finding Nemo and The Lion King. I am sorry to tell you this resort will not open until May 31st.

    Enjoy your magical vacation!
