    My family is visiting WDW in late August. There may become an issue with our dates due to summer visitations. Are there fees if we book and have to change dates after paying? Or should we wait to book until we know what the summer schedule will look like?

    Hi there Elizabeth,

    In most cases, you will have no problem making changes to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation dates as long as you make the modification up to 45 days prior to your arrival date.  If you are beyond that 45 day window, and if the change causes your total package price to drop, then you may be assessed a $50 penalty fee.

    I highly recommend you go ahead and lock in your desired vacation dates now, as space is limited, especially in June which is a popular travel month!  You'll have until April to make changes without incurring penalty!  The initial deposit will hold your reservation until you have time to finalize that decision!
