my family and I are visiting WDW from 11/7/12 to 11/14/12, can you give me a few little things to do that are out of the ordinary? We try to visit once a year and have done most of the big things, what will be happening when we are visiting???

    Hi Michele!!

Congratulations on your November Walt Disney World Vacation!!!

You will be visiting at such a wonderful time of the year.  All of the Christmas decorations will be up, yet you are coming in before all the Thanksgiving/Christmas crowds will be coming in.

I would definitely recommend buying tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  The dates haven't been announced for this year yet, but the first party is usually around Nov. 7 or 8 so there should definitely be one for your family to attend.  This is a wonderful time to be at the Magic Kingdom.  There is so much that goes on like a special parade, special fireworks, free hot chocolate and cookies, and even more!!!  Look for the dates to come out in April/May with tickets going on sale shortly there after.

I would also recommend resort hopping and seeing all the different Christmas decorations at the various Walt Disney World Resorts.  Each resort is themed very differently and beautifully.  I would highly recommend seeing the decorations at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney's BoardWalk Resort.

These are just a couple of things my family enjoys doing when we are at Walt Disney World during the Christmas season.

I hope you have a magical trip!!

    Scott
