Hello, my family and I are visiting WDW for the very first time. We have two 5 year olds and a 9 year old. We are staying at the wilderness cabins and would like to visit MK. Any suggestions on what entertainment/activities we should do?

    Hi there, Reshma!

Magic Kingdom Park is the perfect destination for children of that age! Not only will they get to ride some of the world-famous attractions, but they'll have the chance to meet many of their Disney favorites.

Without knowing too much about your children, I'll offer the top five experiences that I think every child might enjoy:

1 - "Celebrate a Dream Come True" parade at 3:00 PM daily, and the Wishes! nighttime fireworks spectacular (times vary - grab a Times Guide upon your arrival at the Park).

2 - Peter Pan's Flight - This ride takes you through the story of Peter Pan, from London nursery to Neverland.

3 - it's a small world - Soundtracked with a super-catchy theme song, this ride demonstrates how truly, if we listen to children, it can be "a small world after all".

4 - Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - Help Buzz Lightyear defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg in this exciting, interactive game.

5 - Dumbo - this iconic, classic attraction has gotten a new twist! He's flying in the new Fantasyland expansion, and depending on when you visit, you might be at the Park after the opening of the fabulous indoor interactive queue. The double ride is especially cool at night, with water features and lighting effects.

There's also the Great Goofini's Barnstormer, which is a roller coaster designed specifically for the younger set, and Mickey's PhilharMagic, a fabulous 3-D movie adventure that takes you through some of o your favorite Disney films.

Whatever you choose to do, you are sure t have an incredible time! Oh, and don't forget to get your complimentary "1st Visit" button when you check in at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
