    Hi. My family will be visiting WDW for the first time in a few days. I was planning on checking in online. How does the process work since we will be arriving early in the morning on check in day?

    Hi Lucas,

    Since you'll be arriving in a few days, go ahead and check in online now as this service is available up to 10 days in advance of your arrival. The Online Check In saves time upon arrival as you'll already have provided all of your information including a credit card for expenses.

    I've used the service on my last two trips to Walt Disney World and it really did save time. First, I was able to get into the Resort Online Check-In line at the Front Desk which had less of a wait then the regular line. And, I just had to pick up my Information Packet and Key to the World cards.

    Since you are arriving early in the morning, you'll proceed to the appropriate check-in line, pick up all of your information, and if your room isn't ready yet, you'll be given information on how to check on the status of your room and/or you can sign up for Mobile Notification. Mobile Notification sends an automated phone call or text  (your choice!) to your cell phone when your room is ready!

    If your room is not ready, you can leave your luggage and/or carry-on bags with Bell Services. This is a great time to explore your resort, get a bite to eat, shop in the gift store, or relax at the pool! If you are using Disney's Magical Express for your luggage, don't forget to pack your swim suits in your carry-on bags!
