HI! My family and I will be visiting WDW in the fall of 2013.We would like to do the Not so scary Halloween party. Could you tell me what are the dates for the party for 2013? Also, it the party similar to the the Very Merry Christmas Party in December?

Lisa, you have chosen a really fun time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Fall in the parks in one of my favorite times to travel there. The decorations are amazing and the special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival make this place even more incredible to visit.

Unfortunately, the dates for the 2013 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have not been officially announced yet. However, keep checking back to the link I have provided as they will be listed on that page as soon as they are announced.

The Halloween and Christmas parties are two very unique events, but different in so many ways. Both are special events that require a separate admission ticket and there is a special parade and fireworks show for both, as well as various rides open. But, they are different in what they have to offer that is unique to the holidays they celebrate. For example, at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party there is trick-or-treating and dance parties throughout the Magic Kingdom. During Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you can drink complimentary hot cocoa while it "snows" on Main Street, then head over to meet Santa.

Have a magical time planning your vacation and please stop back by if you have more questions.
