Hello Kim! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Disney Villains After Hours is such a unique way to experience Magic Kingdom Park! I love visiting the park well into the night! I also love to visit the park when there are very small crowds and little, if any, waiting for rides! Disney Villains After Hours offers both!
If you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park during the day and then attend the Disney Villains After Hours event in the evening, then you will have to pay two separate admissions. If visiting a daytime or regular operating hours event or attraction, such as a parade or stage show is important to your family, then paying both admissions might be worthwhile for your family.
I want to suggest a possible alternative to paying two separate admissions, but perhaps still getting the opportunity to visit the park during normal operating hours and enjoy Disney Villains After Hours. When you purchase admission to Disney Villains After Hours, you may enter the Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7:00PM even though the event doesn't begin until 9:00 or 10:00PM (depending upon the date). This is exactly what my family does when we purchase tickets to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We feel that the early park entry is one of the best benefits to the special-ticketed events at Magic Kingdom Park!
Kim, I hope this information is helpful as you decide how to spend a day, and really fun night, in Magic Kingdom Park!
