My family will be visiting WDW at the end of April and we are staying at the Carribean Beach resort for the first time. We are going to be staying in one of standard view Pirate rooms and I am wondering how far that is going to be from the food court.

    Hi Julie,

Our family has stayed several times at the Caribbean Beach Resort. The Pirate rooms are located in Trinidad South. Our son loved to pretend he was sailing on great adventures in his pirate ship bed!

With little ones, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to Old Port Royale's Market Street food court, depending on your building's location. This allows for a slow-paced stroll! Adults and older kids can briskly walk in about 5-8 minutes, again depending on the building's location.

For reference, the entire walk around Barefoot Bay is 1.4 miles.

If you find the walk unbearable, there is an internal bus!

Caribbean Beach Resort is a tropical oasis which our family truly enjoys. Have fun!
