Hello all, my family and I will be visiting WDW during the week of Halloween. We will attend the MNSSHP on the 29th, we are planning to visit either HS or Epcot on the 31st which one would you recommend and can we wear our costumes?

    Hi Ana,

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite events at Walt Disney World! I've never been so close to Halloween, but I'm sure you'll have an amazing time! You and your family certainly can (and should) wear costumes to the party. Just remember that no masks are allowed.

As far as which park to visit on Halloween Day. I would go with Epcot, just because I think that Hollywood Studios will be more crowded. You can't wear your costumes into the park, although children under age nine can dress up. However, you can wear a festive hat or shirt to celebrate the day.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
