Hi, My family and I are visiting WDW in August and staying onsite at AK. My question is will be have to buy tickets for Early morning magic to enter the parks early. Isn't EMM just the same as EMH but with breakfast ?? Any advice would be appreciated x

    Hi Keeley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited to see that your holiday is fast approaching, and that you will be staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I am very happy to explain the differences between these two events. During Extra Magic Hours the theme park will open an hour early, or stay open for a few hours after normal closing time exclusively for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. This only happens for select parks, on select days, and no two parks will offer Extra Magic Hours for the same time on the same day. This is one of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel, and comes at no extra cost for those guests. Coming from the UK we can easily take advantage of those early opening hours for the first few days of our holiday while we are still adjusting to the time difference. Disney Early Morning Magic - Toy Story Land, and Disney Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland are two separate special ticketed events that offer a limited amount of guests early access to these two magical lands in Disney's Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom Park. You will have exclusive use of Toy Story Land or Fantasyland between 7.45am-10.00am to enjoy select attractions, with breakfast included (at a location outside of Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios, or at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park). As the park will open to regular guests at 9.00am, I would recommend that you enjoy your breakfast towards 10.00am, therefore fully utilising your exclusive time from 7.45am.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday.
