My family will be visiting WDW in April 2016 as a birthday surprise for our 2 girls (one will be 3 on the 17th, the other 7 on the 22nd). I was wondering if there was a place to celebrate a birthday in the magic kingdom, apart from a dinner/meal?

Hello Jessica and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Oh how delightful for you to be arranging a double birthday surprise at Walt Disney World Resort for your 2 darling little princesses next April, why it's sure to be practically perfect in every way!
The Magic Kingdom Park honestly is my most favourite place on earth and as it's name suggests - it sure is an enchanted place to celebrate in. Don't miss visiting Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theatre for a magical birthday hug.
You may also wish to consider making an appointment with a Fairy Godmother-in-training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for your sweet girls; this pixie dusted experience truly would make their birthday visit one they'll remember forever.
Another tip I pass along to all birthday girls and boys is to pick up a complimentary 'I'm celebrating' button from any Guest Services; wearers of these cute buttons often get wished a special 'Happy birthday' by Cast Members and other Guests alike.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your April 2016 plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
