My family and I will be visiting Walt Disney World the week after Thanksgiving and we are trying to decide if we should get tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. What comes with the tickets, and do they only light up the Castle during this time?

    Hi Neula!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is awesome!  I went last year with my friends for the first time and I was wondering how in the world I never took my kids! I'm taking them this year for sure.

At the Party, you get to see Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade complete with wooden soldiers and Santa Claus himself!  You can enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies(as much as your stomachs can hold), and enjoy a "snowfall" on Main Street USA at the end of the evening.  I had a fabulous time.  Of course, the Party is not just limited to those things, click here for more information.

Cinderella Castle is draped in "icicles" throughout the season so you won't miss that if you are already planning to visit Magic Kingdom.  It is stunning to see.

I hope that you are able to join the Party.  As for us, we have a coin jar in our kitchen labeled "MVMCP" that's looking rather full.  The kids have been saving to contribute to tickets...which really means they are saving to go shopping in Magic Kingdom.  I'm not kidding myself!  Have a wonderful time on your vacation!  Happy Holidays!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
