Hi Anne,
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I also enjoy the dinner shows at Walt Disney World. They offer such fantastic entertainment and great food.
I have good news for you. Both
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show still run at Walt Disney World. They are both great options if you want to revisit your childhood and see one of these shows again!
If you are looking for something new, you can also consider
Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. This fun dining experience is held under a large pavilion and features a buffet of camping-style favorite foods. My family and I experienced this dinner show recently and enjoyed the music, singing, and entertainment at the show. This experience is fun for families with young children, but can also be an enjoyable evening for families with older children. Please do note that this experience is only offered on select nights, so do check the website I linked or call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) to check availability.
I would classify Mickey's Backyard BBQ as a less formal dining experience than either Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, so do consider that in making your decision. I have enjoyed all three shows, and for a family with a 13-year-old daughter, I would recommend Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Of course, any decision that you make will result in a fun evening!
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Anne. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
