My family will be visiting Walt Disney in Sept. 2012. Our party consists of 17 people (10 adults/7 kids). We are staying at a Value Resort for 6 days, 5 nights with Park Hopper tickets, and the basic dining plan. Any suggestions for our large group?

This sounds like its going to be a fantastic trip to Walt Disney World. With such a large group you will create some great memories. I would suggest going on rides as a group. I love filling up an entire boat on Pirates of the Caribbean. We control the ship! The kids love it. You can also do this on the classic Jungle Cruise, and the timeless 'it's a small world.' We have a great picture taken by a cast member of all 16 of us in one boat. It's so much fun. We loved seeing the Enchanted Tiki Room, all of us singing along with the birdies. In addition watching the parades and fireworks as a group at night is like nothing else. Watching everyone's face light up is pure Disney magic. Lastly, we love taking pictures with our large group and our favorite Disney characters. We have a one of a kind picture of three family generations together with the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse. I hope this helps you plan a mare magical vacation.
